nuno-hh is owned by Nuno Castanheira who works close to his clients producing Handmade Art Work Decorative pieces and designing custom made furniture for homes or hospitality business. He prides himself on using only the finest manufacturing practices, authentic materials and a steadfast commitment to quality. He continually strive to offer an impeccable service and a memorable buying experience.
STUDIO&WORKSHOP
nuno Studio&Workshop operates in the Decor and Furniture industry, developing customized products according to client needs. All our products are designed (technical drawings and 3D models) in house, working closely with our clients through every step of the process. All our Art Work Decorative pieces and Accessories are Handmade in our Workshop.
WHO IS nuno?
Originally from São Pedro do Sul, Portugal, Nuno Castanheira is graduated in Urban Architecture at the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. During his career he got experience in Design (Furniture, Interiors, Housing, Hospitality, Airports and Healthcare) in recognized companies in Europe and the Middle East.
Expert in developing models for private and public industry (contemporary architecture, interior design and design product). Acknowledged by customers and contractors for innovative designs that embody current trends, meticulous attention to detail, outstanding customer service and budget discipline. He is versatile, highly creative, competitive and comfortable to jump from conceptual sketches to production coordinating different disciplines and suppliers.
CUSTOM-MADE
PROCESS
We work closely with our customers through every step of the process, whether it’s for a single chair or a collection of pieces for a large project.
- Send us your idea, concept/specification, a brief description of the piece and we will supply a quote.
- Once the quote is approved we will start producing technical drawings/3D models.
- We can also carry out onsite surveys for pieces that require wall-mounting or cut-out detailing.
- We then arrange finishing samples to give you a visual representation of your products.
- We ensure you are updated on progress during the production process including photographs of detailing and finishing.
- The lead time is between seven to ten weeks, depending on the complexity of your piece.
- We liaise with you to arrange a mutually convenient installation date.

Made to order – Our designs are made upon being requested, we only use the material and energy required to fulfill orders. So, you can customize our concept or build something new from a specific briefing and get your own special creation. This represents a more sustainable consumer choice: it honors the materials and craft, reduces waste and sends a subtle signal against mass production.
